These Terms & Conditions apply to all dental treatment services provided by Uzm. Dt. Seçil Sümengen Yazıcı, accessible from https://secilsumengenyazici.com.tr.

Please read these Terms carefully before submitting a booking request. These Terms explain who we are, how services will be provided, how changes or cancellations may occur, and other important information regarding your dental treatment.

In this document:

  • “you” / “your” refers to the patient named on the booking confirmation.
  • “we”, “us”, “our” refers to Uzm. Dt. Seçil Sümengen Yazıcı, providing dental treatment services in Antalya, Türkiye.

These Terms, together with your booking confirmation, form the contract between you and us regarding your dental treatment.


1. DEFINITIONS

The following definitions apply within these Terms:

Booking
A confirmed appointment for a dental procedure.

Booking Confirmation
Written confirmation sent to the patient following the booking request.

Consultation
A face-to-face examination and consultation with the dentist prior to treatment.

Dental Procedure
The dental treatment agreed upon between the patient and the dentist.

Fees
The cost payable for the dental treatment specified in the treatment plan.

Medical Assessment Forms
Medical history and consent forms completed prior to treatment.

2. YOUR DENTAL PROCEDURE

Your dental treatment includes:

  • Initial consultation with the dentist
  • Dental X-ray or diagnostic imaging if required
  • The agreed dental treatment
  • Aftercare instructions following the procedure

Unless otherwise agreed, the following are not included in the treatment:

  • Travel to Türkiye
  • Accommodation
  • Travel insurance
  • Passport or visa expenses
  • Medications outside the dental procedure
  • Food and personal expenses

3. BOOKING YOUR TREATMENT

A contract is formed when:

  1. You accept these Terms
  2. We confirm your booking via email

Your booking confirmation will include a proposed treatment plan.

Patients must provide:

  • Personal details
  • Emergency contact information
  • Medical history
  • Current medications
  • Passport details if required

Providing incorrect or incomplete information may result in cancellation or additional charges.

The dentist performing the treatment will be a qualified professional registered with the Turkish Dental Association.

All dental procedures carry potential risks. These risks will be explained during your consultation.


4. PAYMENT

The price of your treatment will be indicated in the booking confirmation.

Payment conditions:

  • A deposit may be required to secure the booking.
  • Remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of treatment.
  • Payments may be made via bank transfer, debit/credit card or cash.

Late payments may incur interest charges.

If you believe an invoice is incorrect, please contact us immediately.


5. CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING

If you wish to change your booking:

  • We will try to accommodate reasonable requests
  • Changes may affect treatment schedules or fees
  • Written confirmation will be provided for any modifications

Patients have 14 days from booking to cancel without penalty if treatment has not yet started.

If cancellation occurs after this period, administrative or cancellation fees may apply.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.


6. OUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

We reserve the right to cancel a booking if:

  • Payment is not completed
  • Required medical information is not provided
  • The patient behaves disrespectfully toward staff or other patients

In such cases, we may refund payments for treatments not yet provided but reserve the right to deduct administrative costs.


7. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Patients traveling to Türkiye for dental treatment are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel and health insurance.

We are not responsible for expenses that would normally be covered by personal insurance.


8. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Patients are responsible for ensuring:

  • Valid passport
  • Visa requirements if applicable
  • Compliance with entry requirements for Türkiye

Any travel-related expenses are the responsibility of the patient.


9. LIABILITY

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by negligence or failure to provide services with reasonable care.

However, we are not responsible for:

  • Travel disruptions
  • Accommodation issues
  • Business losses
  • Complications arising from incorrect medical information provided by the patient

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.


10. AFTERCARE & WARRANTY

We provide warranty coverage for certain dental procedures.

However, the warranty may become void if:

  • Dental hygiene instructions are not followed
  • Regular dental checkups are not attended
  • Damage occurs due to external trauma
  • Treatment is altered by another dental clinic without consultation

If you experience any issues following treatment, you should contact us immediately so that we can assist you.


11. DISPUTES

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good faith discussion or mediation before pursuing legal action.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and disputes shall be resolved in Turkish courts.


12. GENERAL

Each section of these Terms operates independently. If any provision becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our rights.
